The Gazette is proud, once again, to be the carnival’s official media partner.
From the first moment, three years ago, Colchester Round Table announced its decision to organise the event, the Gazette has supported its ambitions.
The Round Table’s community spirit, and that of Colchester Ladies Circle, is an example to us all.
For more than 40 years the Gazette has been at the heart of the Colchester community and has supported initiatives such as this.
We are delighted to be able to bring coverage of the event to our many thousands of readers both in the paper and on our website.
Were it not for events such as these, life in our lovely town would be the poorer for it, and we urge all Colchester residents to take part in the many carnival events, or go along and see them.
We wish the carnival every success and will not only ensure we give it great coverage, before and after the event, but ensure we pay tribute to the hard work, dedication and generosity of the many volunteers who make such a great day possible.
