Once again this year there will be a family event in Castle Park on the day of the carnival. The park event will open from 11am until the procession, and then the procession will continue into the park once it reaches the castle.
In the Upper Park you will find there is abmain focus on activities for children, including rides and entertainment. We also hope to have a children's arts and crafts marquee on Castle Meadow.
In the Lower Park you will find the carnival stage and arena featuring various acts throughout the day. There will also be many food and drink concessions to keep you refreshed. Local businesses, good causes and other attractions will also make up the Lower Park display.
