Please note there will be a rolling road block in operation during this time. Further information is below.
The procession is due to take place between approximately 3pm and 5pm on that date, and the route will be as follows:
Circular Road North – start
High Street – end
We will try to minimise the disruption to residents in the area of this route, but there will be some road closures before and after the above times, which will inevitably affect access to the streets mentioned above. If you need access for your vehicle around the time of the carnival you should make alternative arrangements.
Circular Road North will be closed between 11am and approximately 3.30pm. We will permit limited access to Stable Road during this period, although access will be restricted. You will be required to enter and exit at the Napier Road end.
We have consulted extensively with the Police and the Borough Council and have designed the road closures to affect as few roads as possible. We believe that the best way to reduce disruption to you will be to operate road blocks on a rolling basis so that roads can be reopened quickly once the carnival passes by.
If you have any questions relating to these road closures, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
